The journey towards the future is sustainable: Trenord is Mobility Partner of "STEP FuturAbility District", the innovative technological space in Milan open to the public from May 31, 2022 which, through a multimedia exhibition and immersive, will guide visitors to understand the digital revolution underway and to become protagonists.
The partnership between Trenord and the new innovation hub was born with the common goal of putting environmental sustainability at the center of reflection on the future, both regarding technological development and every day, as the choice of a collective means of transport.
STEP offers a personal and interactive experience during which visitors will be guided on an engaging journey through dynamic installations, immersive spaces and multimedia walls, to discover themes related to the digital future. An itinerary in stages lasting about 45 minutes usable through your smartphone to interact in real time with the surrounding environment and learn about new possible worlds enabled by new technologies, from artificial intelligence to the internet of things, from cloud computing to 5G. During the year, STEP will host a rich program of midweek workshops for schools and Sunday for families, scientific-cultural workshops and conferences.
The technological space is located in Piazza Adriano Olivetti 1 , in one of the most innovative districts of the Milan metropolitan area and can be reached on foot in about 10 minutes from the Milano Porta Romana train station. The exhibition can be visited from Tuesday to Sunday, from 9:30 to 19:00 .
THE OFFER FOR MALPENSA EXPRESS CUSTOMERS
30% discounted admission ( € 7 instead of € 10) to STEP FuturAbility District reserved for Malpensa Express travelers in possession of a ticket of the airport service validated within 3 days from the date of the visit. The offer also applies to holders of a Trenord train ticket with destination Milan , validated on the day of the visit, and to Trenord season ticket holders in possession of the IO VIAGGIO card , in progress of validity.
The visit of the exhibition space includes an itinerary in stages lasting a total of about 45 minutes.
HOW TO GET THE DISCOUNT
The promotion, not combinable with other discounts, is valid for the purchase of an entrance ticket to STEP FuturAbility District that can be used by the Malpensa Express customer.
To get the discount you need:
- for purchases at the ticket office (in Piazza Adriano Olivetti 1 in Milan): show your Malpensa Express train ticket obliterated within 3 days from the date of the visit;
- for online purchases from the website www.steptothefuture.it : in the " Tickets " section, select the date and time of the visit, then selecting the "Trenord Reduced 7 € ticket ". To validate the fare purchased online, the validated train ticket must be shown at the STEP ticket office before entering the exhibition.
