Travelling with children is simple and convenient: Malpensa Express offers special conditions for young passengers, making your journey to the airport more affordable for the whole family.

Tickets for children aged 0 to 3

All children between 0 and 3 years of age travel free of charge on all Malpensa Express trains. No separate ticket is required: they must simply be accompanied by an adult holding a valid travel ticket. During ticket inspections on board, staff may ask for an identity document to confirm the child’s age.

Tickets for children and young passengers aged 4 to 13

For children and young passengers aged 4 to 13, a discount of up to 50% on the standard fare is available. The discount is applied automatically at the time of purchase, whether online through the official website, via the Trenord App, at ticket offices or at authorised retailers. The reduced fare is valid on all Malpensa Express routes to and from the airport.

How to purchase discounted tickets

Discounts for children and young passengers can be selected during the booking process by choosing the correct age range. Tickets can be purchased:

• on the official Malpensa Express website, in just a few clicks;

• via the Trenord App;

• at Trenord and Malpensa Express ticket offices;

• from authorised retailers or through self-service ticket machines at stations.

Useful information before you travel

• Children aged 0 to 3 travel free of charge but must always be accompanied by an adult with a valid ticket.

• For passengers aged 4 to 13, the discount of up to 50% is applied automatically – no promo codes are required.

• It is recommended to carry an identity document for the child, as it may be requested by staff during inspections.
